Mardi Gras Celebrations start here, Sydney! Get your rainbow flags ready, it’s time to celebrate!
You’re invited to dine and party throughout the Mardi Gras season, curated in collaboration with Chin Chin resident DJ’s, DJ Sveta and Estée Louder. We’ll be serving you some of Sydney’s best queer talent and delicious Chin Chin Yum Cha over three weekends.
FEBRUARY 20 – 21
Welcome to the festival! Wet your whistle with weekend number one.
Vibes will be set by your hosts DJ Sveta and Estée Louder will be bringing the party, with the loudest and proudest of tunes til 5pm.
Dig in to our $55pp Mardi Cha and add the extra flavour with a POP of colour with our pink Pad Thai! We’ve got your liquid loving sorted with a specially curated cocktail menu featuring gin, tequila, rose liqueur, yuzushu and more!
FEBRUARY 27 – 28
The main event! Join us for the party you don’t want to miss! Recommended as ADULTS ONLY, spinning the tunes is resident DJ Sveta on Saturday and Estée Louder on Sunday! Be entertained by some of Sydney’s best and brightest LGBTQI+ artists and performers including double trouble Kilia Tipa and Sarabi. Enjoy the one and only internationally renowned singer, MC, cabaret performer and charismatic glamazon, Sheba Williams. Sheba has performed across the world from Berlin to Shanghai with her shows being vivacious, naughty and funny. Sunday’s entertainment is served by the Slaysians, self described as the Asian empresses of the gay streets of Sydney, set to make a statement through their music and live performances, as well as the urban experimental drag goddess, Aaron Manhattan.
Reserve a show, tables of 2-4 fabulous bunnies can enjoy seatings from 12:30-2pm or 2pm-3:30pm, or if you want to see the full show call your best bunnies and book a table for 5+ from 1pm to catch them all!
Can you feel the electric buzz in the air? Get your glitters and rainbow ready, it’s Mardi Gras Eve in Gogo Bar!
Come and celebrate in style at Chin Chin, enjoying the entertainment brought to you by the absolute mind blowing moustache drag queen Yazqween along with the trans non-binary drag artist who hails from heaven and Sydney, Gabriel Angel. Vibes will be set by our famous resident DJ Estée Louder along all manner of deviant disco DJ James Smithers, playing the loudest and proudest of tunes til 10pm. Shows from 6.30pm to 9pm.
Wrapping up the party in style, with the recovery you need from all the fun! Celebrating the 2021 rainbow of love with the long standing queen of the weird Burley Chassis and the trans performer that has wowed Australian and New York audiences, Kilia Tipa. Bringing the glitz and glamour to the Sunday session is Felicia Foxx, an activist and first nation drag queen like no other along with the legendary kooky and kinky Miss 3D.
Ready to have some fun? Book in with your best bunnies. Groups of 2-4 guests, enjoy a show from 12:30pm or 2pm, with two acts per seating. Don’t want to miss them all? Groups of 5 or more enjoy the show form 1pm, with a long lunch to catch all the action!
Mardi Cha is here to feed you on weekends from February 20, for $55pp. Available for hungry bunnies for lunch on weekends long with a menu including the steamiest of dumplings! Think Mixed Mushroom Dumplings, Chicken and Leek Wontons, BBQ Pork Steam Buns and more!
